The band has been satisfactorily doing their music for a while. Often to a certain degree where they discuss giving hugs, or even getting flying kisses from male fans, to a point as if they are still learning the way people react when you are a celebrated person — or in this case, group.

Further references about how good the band, their personalities off and on stage, and how such announcement feels like a certain loss for those who follow them.

Rhian Daly from NME wrote:

Musically, they’ve never put a foot wrong and never allowed themselves to sound stale. Even when writing and making ‘Marks To Prove It’ got tough, they kept battling through to make not only one of the greatest albums of 2015, but the best album of their career and one of this decade’s finest gems.

Of course, the London 5-piece then went on to become a proper adult band that release albums, get earnest hair cuts, wear open unbranded shirts, achieve certified gold status and soundtrack Samsung adverts. And they did pretty well off the back of all that. But for many of us, the flame of that adolescent connection to them will always just be to the first time you heard “X Ray”, “Toothpaste Kisses” or “Latchmere” at a regrettable Carling Academy indie night in 2006.

I cannot include every write ups and stuff there was for the band. They may be underrated but the way fans treated them were of utmost care as to what their next ventures may be. They are still the indie boys most look after and no one can say how underrated they are until you know such ending.
